Many women when looking for long that lost self-confidence start their search by getting a new hair color. Getting a new look whether it be a new style or a new style and color, hair coloring does give you that lift you sometimes need. At home coloring kits are overwhelmingly popular and with so many brand and colors now available choosing the right one without going to drastic can be hard. If you have never colored your hair before, the first time that you do I personally recommend a professional for first time color, tips and/or highlights, but if you have opted to do it yourself, stick with a temporary wash out color that is close to your hair’s own natural color, this way if you don’t like it will be easier to correct.
When you color leave the hair down and start from the root and work outward to the ends, this will give you a more even application. If you are going from very dark hair to very light hair please us a hair care professional colorist, they are trained.
